It's a never-ending cycle of trying to fit everything into that handbag that you love, or the purse that just fits in your hand perfectly. We all have that one or two that are our everyday go too's; but what about when you're packing for a weekend away, or a night out, or a shopping trip? That one perfect bag doesn't exist; no one bag can do all of those things. But there is a perfect bag for each one of those occasions - it's really at matter of adding to the stash that's hidden in the back of your closet from the significant other half!

I'm lucky that I have the skills and know-how to sew up my own personal stash of weekend away bags. I have only just today come back from said weekend away and I'm pleased to report that each one of my bags served their purpose perfectly and made our trip so much easier and organised.

So I have put together a bundle of bags that are going to be my permanent weekend stash.

First was my Stella Weekender, of which I have two; one for me and one for the man. With Stella packed out with 3 changes of clothes, leather jacket, high heels, a book & cds, hat and sandals, notebook & phone chargers she was ready to go but I still had extra unused pockets.

Next was my Donna Vintage Style Handbag. Donna was the perfect size for a makeup and toiletries bag and fitted everything we needed. It was so useful to have a bag that could be carried and not need to be packed in with other things.

Third was my Coraline Clutch with wristlet strap was perfect for carrying all the important things one would need at a concert without being too bulky or too small to be useful.

Next up was my everyday bag, Sandra Saddle Bag. Rather then changing out all my normal handbag items, I bought her along to stash all the important stuff. There's nothing worse then forgetting concert tickets, or booking forms because you swapped out you handbag at the last moment. And Sandra's crossbody strap makes her so useful and hands free.

Alice the Shopper Tote was up next for our shopping & museum trip the next day. Alice is perfect for carrying all those little things you pick up when out exploring as well as having room for all the usual suspects that grace the pockets of our bags. Alice is such a roomy bag that she was never full, but at the same time, so open as to not have to wrestle with her to find the car keys!

And lastly was the all important coin purse. There is nothing worse then a bulging wallet that won't zip up because of all that coin. I never leave home without one of these babies.

So is there a perfect bag for every occasion? I say yes! and I'm so thrilled to have come across the awesome pattern making skills of Alicia from Swoon patterns. I can now offer you all a chance to make your weekend, everyday, or week long trips organised and stylish at the same time.

xx
